Sightseeing tour through Amman, the ancient and modern capital of Jordan, originally built on seven hills. From the top of the citadel, one of the highest hills in Amman, we can have a splendid view of the old city. We visit the Citadel, the Roman Theater, and the Archeological Museum. We continue to the Desert Castles, built by the Umayyad Caliphs of Damascus in the 8th century A.D. as hunting lodges. Wildly varied in architectural style we see: Qasr Al‐Kharraneh, Qasr Amra and Qasr Al‐Azraq. Back to Amman for dinner and overnight

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Today after breakfast we will start a wonderful excursion north of Jordan among ancient Greco ‐ Roman cities. Jordan was considered a very important crossing area, so all the ancient civilizations established settlements en‐route. Later on these little settlements grew and became city states called Decapolis. Today we will have a great chance to walk through one of these cities. Jerash is known as one of the most well preserved Old Roman cities with impressive colonnaded streets, vaulted terrace and the ruins of two theatres. Later on, we proceed further north to Ajloun castle built by one of Saladin's Generals. Ajloun has a commanding view of the neighboring areas out towards the West Bank. Back to Amman for dinner & overnight

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Today we drive to visit Madaba, home of the most famous Byzantine Mosaics and most of all the 6th century map of the holy places in the biblical world. Continue to Mount Nebo, with its spectacular view of the Holy Land which we overlook just like Moses did over 3,000 years ago. Continue to the crusader castle of Shobak. Shobak was originally called Krak de Montreal or Mons Regalis. Built in 1115, it was the first of many fortifications built beyond the Jordan by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem to guard the road from Egypt to Damascus. It successfully resisted a number of sieges until it fell to Saladin's troops in 1189. Dinner and overnight in Petra

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Today after breakfast we visit Petra; the lost city in the middle of nowhere with its huge facades carved into the rocks that will take your breath away around each corner. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabateans, an industrious Arab people who settled here more than 2000 years ago, turning it into an important junction for the silk, spice and other trade routes that linked China, India and southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Greece and Rome. Petra has been featured in Hollywood blockbusters
such as "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" and " The Mummy Returns". Beyond Al Khazneh you are surrounded on both sides by hundreds of Petra's curved and built structures, soaring temples, elaborate royal tombs, a curved Nabatean theater (seating 3,000 people), large and small houses, burial chambers, banquet halls, water channels and Reservoirs, bathes, monumental staircases, cultic installations, arched gates, public buildings and paved streets. After the tour, walk back to our hotel & overnight

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

After the spectacular day in Petra, excitement keeps going on and on. We will visit one of the most beautiful deserts in the world, Wadi Rum or Moon Valley, where we see very huge Sand stone Mountains scattered on the horizon. Among these mountains we can see endless colorful sand plains. Upon arrival we embark on a 2 hour jeep ride in the desert to enjoy the breathtaking view. Afterwards drive to Aqaba the only sea city in Jordan and the Gate of Jordan on the world; Aqaba is a coastal city in the far south
of Jordan, the capital of Aqaba Governorate at the head of the Gulf of Aqaba. Aqaba is strategically important to Jordan as it is the country's only seaport. The city is best known today as a diving & beach resort, but industrial activity remains important to the area. We spend the rest of the day in Aqaba with the possibility to swim at one of the beaches (public or tourist) or take a stroll through Aqaba city and its Souks. Dinner & overnight at our hotel in Aqaba

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Today we drive through Wadi Arava to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. At 400 meters (1,312 ft.) below the sea level, it is one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the world where the salinity is 10 times more than the other seas and oceans. We spend the rest of the day relaxing and swimming at the Dead Sea before driving back to Amman for dinner & overnight at our hotel.
